JESSE TOSO

I first picked up the chainsaw in 2005 at a carving competition in my home town of Campbell River, BC, Canada. I carved a seven foot tall Phoenix rising from the flames. I won first place in my category and have been carving with chainsaws ever since.
I have always had a passion for wood and I feel a responsibility as an artist to create pieces that honour the tree and show off its grain to the fullest.
